Iancu was born at 17.Feb.1886. Son of Hirs sin Leib (30 years old), merchant and Minta (25 years old), both domiciled in Botosani "under Romanian protection" (apparently means they were native-born in Romania, but not citizens since Jewish).

  Noted events in his life were:

• Occupation: Greengrocer (Precupeti)- buys from farmers and sells on market.

Hers married Minta. (Minta was born in 1861.)
